Cancellation & refunds

Our direct-stay refund schedules match the Firm and Firm Long Term policies selected for The Kasbah on Airbnb. Please read the policy for your stay length before booking.

First 24 hours

For any stay, cancel within 24 hours of booking confirmation for a full refund, including fees and taxes, when the booking was confirmed at least 72 hours before check-in. This takes priority over the schedules below.

Stays of 1–27 nights · Firm

Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund. Cancel at least 7 but fewer than 30 days before check-in for a 50% refund of the accommodation price. Within 7 days of check-in, the accommodation price is non-refundable, except during the eligible 24-hour period above.

Stays of 28 nights or more · Firm Long Term

Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund. After that, nights already used plus the next 30 nights are non-refundable, limited to the nights remaining in your reservation. Before arrival, this means the first 30 nights, or the entire stay if shorter. Any paid accommodation amount beyond that is refunded. The eligible 24-hour period above still applies.

Fees and taxes

The accommodation price includes the cleaning fee and other host charges included in your reservation. These follow the same refund schedule. Taxes are returned in full on a fully canceled, unused stay; when part of the stay has been used, tax refunds are prorated as applicable. There is no additional cancellation or refund-processing fee.

How to cancel

Email hello@thekasbahpalmsprings.com with your booking reference and stay dates. We use the time your cancellation is received, in Palm Springs local time, and your confirmed check-in time to calculate the deadline. Refunds go to the original payment method. Eligible 24-hour cancellations are refunded within 30 days. We confirm the refund calculation and processing status by email.

Your reservation

These terms apply to new direct reservations. For an existing reservation or a booking made through another platform, use the terms provided when you booked. Mandatory legal rights still apply. Airbnb’s service fees, AirCover and optional paid extended-cancellation product do not apply to direct stays.

Sending a website inquiry does not reserve dates or take payment. We confirm availability, the full quote and payment arrangements before you commit.
